Technology of Riding Buses in Guatemala

Old U.S. school buses migrate to Guatemala,  painted bright colors and a luggage / freight rack is added on top. The seats remain unchanged, except that instead of holding two children, they hold three adults (plus a child or two often added).
The aisle passengers can usually get most of one cheek on a seat but risk sliding off on sharp turns. Safety improves when someone sits in the adjoining aisle seat because the two airborne cheeks join together over the aisle to gain stability.

Carson in the aisle, above,  and then holding tight while fully seated, although the man with the hat doesn't look too comfortable.
